Your heat pump won't turn on at all. Check the circuit breaker first, heat pumps can trip it after a power cut, and try again. If the breaker's fine and it still won't respond, get in touch and we'll talk through what it means.
It's running but not heating or cooling properly. If air is moving but stays at room temperature, or you're hearing grinding, screeching, or banging rather than the usual hum, that's a genuine fault. Ice on the unit that doesn't clear after cleaning the filter is another sign. Get in touch and we'll talk through what you're seeing before you book anything.
Your Daikin unit is having problems. MiHT is an authorised Daikin warranty repair partner. If your fault is covered, we handle the claim directly

How do I know if I need a repair or a service?
Is my Daikin unit covered under warranty?
If your Daikin heat pump is within its warranty period, tell us when you book and we'll confirm what's covered under our authorised repair arrangement.
Do you repair all heat pump brands?
Yes. MiHT repairs all major brands, including Mitsubishi, Daikin, Fujitsu, Panasonic, LG, and others. Daikin warranty work is handled through our authorised partnership once confirmed. Other brands and out-of-warranty Daikin units are repaired on a standard paid basis.
How much does a repair diagnosis cost?
$179 inc GST, which includes up to 30 minutes labour and is credited in full toward the repair cost if you go ahead. If the fault needs an ordered part, you'll get a firm quote before anything proceeds.
What if the diagnosis finds the system just needs a service, not a repair?
We'll tell you. A service costs less than most repairs and is often all that's needed. You'll never be pushed toward the more expensive option.
